Step 1: Launch PowerPoint 2013
Step 2: Open a document in which you wish to create a duplicate slide
Step 3: In the pane on the left that contains the slides, select the slide(s) you wish to duplicate. In this example, we want to duplicate the first slide so we have selected it. The selected slides are always outlined in red
Step 4: Click on the Home tab
Step 5: In the Slides section, select New Slide and in the dropdown menu, click on Duplicate Selected Slides
Step 6: The newly duplicated slide will appear right below the lowest slide you selected. Since in this case we only selected Slide 1, the newly duplicated slide will appear in the place of Slide 2
Step 7: If you want to duplicate a single slide, you can right-click on it in the pane on the left which contains the slides, and select Duplicate Slide
